love the bottom picture. I don't know if you meant to, but the editorial emotion I get from that one is a sense of timelessness. Using black and white was a great choice, color would have been far trickier unless you manipulated the colors.
I am torn between the simplicity of the last photo (new beau? why have i not heard about this?) and the perfect structural placement of the last shoe photo. Nope. Can't be either. The one I love the most is the one with my absolutely gorgeous grandaughter beaming at me with those big blue eyes and that hat!
One of my life long dreams has always been to be able to earn a living doing what I love; whether it be opening a photography studio, making calendars, opening a cute little gift shop with my hand made jewelry and other gift-able crafts. When I was younger I use to like the idea of being “a starving artist.” But when I got older the idea of ‘starving’ didn’t really fit anymore. I’m a wife and a mother, and do wish to keep food on the table. I know it will take some time before I can say that I've gotten that far but every dream takes work. Right?
